We built the warning we never had

Maren ran client services at an agency for eleven years. In that time she lost a $14,000 retainer by email, on a Tuesday, with no call first. When she went back through the records, every sign was there: in the time tracker, the calendar and the bookkeeper’s inbox. Nobody had been looking at all of them at once.

Keepwell started in 2022 as a spreadsheet she and Wes built for eleven agencies they knew. It read four things each week and sent one email on Monday. Nine of the eleven are still customers.

We are nine people in a studio above a bakery in Asheville. We have taken no investment, so we answer to agencies and nobody else, and everyone here takes a turn on support.
